Danum Valley Trip

Last week, I went to Danum Valley, Lahad Datu for some official work. Danum Valley was a conservation area. You can find out more about Danum Valley here. We went there by a bus provided by our University. The journey really challenging and tiring as it take about 7 hours ride from Kota Kinabalu to reach Lahad Datu, then another 2 hours from the town to Danum Valley. The last 2 hours ride was the hardest part as the road was just covered with mud and small stone. Just imagine sitting in the bus going for 2 hours nonstop ride. Well, It feel pain in the ass. Well, we didn’t enjoy much in that place, due to very limited time. Wish I have more time so that I have chance to capture more scene especially inside the jungle.

Some deers spotted during our night walk

Meeting the Danum Valley's crew to discuss some official matters

This is the main reason we come to Danum Valley, to check these 2 cabins' condition to determine whether its suitable to be destroy or elsewhere
